About Vandy
Vandy is a 22 year old songwriter, producer, DJ, and audio engineer based in Lexington, Kentucky. Vandy leans heavily into the electronic genre with additional influences from pop, hip-hop, R&B, and alternative rock music. Vandy's music is started and finished in his bedroom, believing that your environment and equipment does not define your ability to create. Utilizing old drum machines, cassette tape decks, samplers, and synthesizers, Vandy blends together sounds that are both polished and distorted with their own unique textures. "Limitations don't have to be constraints," a motto that is prevalent across all of Vandy's projects.
